Junior Academy at “My Jungle Gym”
Our Junior Academy Program for Ages 18 months to 5 years
Pre-School gymnastics activities are to develop small and large motor skills. Activities are fun-filled as experienced and professional personnel direct the little ones toward strength, flexibility and social development. Equipment used includes balls, hula hoops, ropes, baby balance beam, ladders, trampolines, and floor. Special music and rhythmic games provide creative stimulation for children.
Gymnastics Academy Programs
A progressive fundamental first learning structure provides for continuous growth and development of gymnastics skills on all Olympic events. These classes are for ages 6 to 17 years. A rotational system will expose the students to bars, beam, floor dance and tumbling. Different sizes of trampolines, mats are also used for safe progressive lesson plans.
With regular testing, students move through 7 levels of accomplishments.
Charter Oak Gymnastics has long been recognized for offering superior competition programs. Our primary goal is to develop and emphasize the child’s self-esteem.
We believe we cannot maximize a child’s potential unless they feel good about themselves.

Boys & Girls Ages 6 to 17 years
These classes are super fun for boys and girls and great for Ninja and Parkour type athletes! This program is designed to teach how to move from one point to another as smoothly, efficiently and quickly as possible using the abilities of the human body in a structured and safe environment. Students will use agility skills, balance, flipping and so much more in this program!
Students learn high levels of body control & balance by moving up, down and over objects. Some flipping skills are learned at a later stage.
Charter & Home School Children
We work with Charter and Home School Programs throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Understanding that parents of Home School children desire to have their children grow into healthy adults by being active, our program offers a pathway to developing motor skills, listening skills, reading readiness, flexibility, strength, goal setting, and cooperation.
We accept the responsibility by assisting in teaching your children these lifelong lessons.
Please see our Charter & Home School Policies below for instruction on how to register your child.
We are known throughout the United States and internationally for our high quality of training.
Our competition teams are called the Gliders. With over 40 years of amazing success in local to Olympic and World level competitions, our Team Program strives to have each athlete reach their full potential.
Our Team Program is by invitation only. Athletes not moving up through our Academy Program can set up a placement testing by calling our office. An explanation of fees and the proposed training plan will follow the testing. There is a $20 testing fee to see what level your child will be placed in.

Mobile Gymnastics & Fitness Program
Our mobile program has been teaching gymnastics and motor development to preschool and elementary-aged children for over 37 years!
Our extensive mobile program takes Charter Oak Gymnastics to many different sites. We cover local preschools, private schools and parks, and recreation departments.
We are fulfilling a need for a child to explore an activity that is not readily available through their schools and the response has been overwhelming. We are currently servicing Alhambra, Arcadia, Azusa, Chino, Covina, Glendora, La Verne, Rosemead, San Dimas, and Walnut Parks & Recreation Centers.
- We bring specialized equipment, which makes teaching fun and creative. The materials include mats, beam, bars, music, springboards, wedge mats, and vaults. The goal of our mobile programs is to instill fitness in our youth at an early age.
- In addition, we currently offer weekly fitness programs to many local preschools and private schools within the community in which we travel to build an exciting lesson in the following areas.
